I'm trying to declare my speculation tax on gov.bc.ca/spectax from outside Canada as I'm travelling at the moment and not due to return to Canada until the end of March. Each attempt to access the website, either the website in general or the specific spectax section results in a message telling me that the page is not working. Is this because I'm trying to reach the site from New Zealand or is there genuinely a problem? I've tried the suggested fixes on the Is Gov Www2 page which tells me that the site is on line.
StudentAid BC is not responding... It keeps redirecting me to a gov.bc site to create a new account but I already have an account. When I get around being redirected it refuses to open any of the applications or appendixes saying that it is "not responding" and that it "can't reach".

I am having problems accessing the Province's website, gov.bc.ca, as well as the Speculation Tax site, gov.bc.ca/spectax. It gives me the following: Safari cannot open the page "https://www2.gov.bc.ca//spectax" because the server unexpectedly dropped the connection. This sometimes occurs when the server is busy. Wait for a few minutes, and then try again.
