I traveled already couple of times using Wimdu to chose and book my places and all I can say is that I am glad I found their website.

Wimdu charged immediately, but the host gave no sign of life ever, despite our repeated attempts to contact him, to discuss the details of check-in.

It was very similar to a hotel experience, only cheaper.
Me and my partner stayed two nights at a Wimdu's apartment in Copenhague, where we shared the apartment with its host, who by the way happened to be a very pleasant and helpful person.
This service is diffuse and they give preset answers, without capacity for solving problems and taking care of the quality of their offer, (they still are offering the same apartment).
We spent an unforgettable time there.

The best: pools and openair living room, just perfect the breakfast!
However, if you dont like to walk, it is close a bus station and a metro station, so you can get the center of Porto easily by public transport.

Mateusz is really nice and helpfull and the appartment is very clean, it is modern and cosy.
Wimdu took the money from my account immediately when I made the request.
Wimdu has not wanted to take any responsibility despite being the only money and communication managers with the host.
Apartamento tranquilo y funcional inmejorable ubicacion.
There is a full kitchen, wifi, TV and a sunny terrace, ideal to enjoy breakfast or meals. Really nice.

It is not in the center of Porto (it is located in the heart of Gaia) but just 20 minutes walk from the cathedral area (in Porto).
The specifications on the web fit with the real. That's what I like.
I called customer service and they told me it was my fault that I did not read the terms and conditions carefully.

We had to find an alternative accommodation and the next morning we contacted Wimdu via its website, several hours before 24 h indicated by them as a deadline to pay the host.
They answer my messages faster.
The information provided by the hosts was generallly very good with respect to directions on arrival and getting around the city and we were very well attended.
Really close to cuidad de las artes and very well communicated by public transport.
The flat is small but enough for 4 or 5 people. Very clean.
Unfortunately we had a mishap on our first night of arrival and an emergency telephone number for Wimdu would have been greatly appreciated.
Without having the money in my account I was not able to make another booking and I needed one during the following 2 days.
