Was one of my favorite news sites, until I made a comment they didn't like..
Worse than communism censorship yet they claim their democracy is superior to communism. No, it isn't.
No balance in regards to important issues.
Mouthpiece for FG/FF absolutely no freedom of speech either.

Anyone who attempts to comment if you disagree with the narrative they are pushing is automatically blocked from doing so with criticism removed.

They have a comments section under most of their articles which is one of their only good points. But, TheJournal. ie abuse this tool to their own benefit. if a user comments negatively regarding the story or how bias the article appears to be the user gets blocked and banned and cannot post any comments ever again.
Rubbish news site and comments board..... news is usually out of date and then the comments section is awash with juvenile trolls.
One star is to high for this woke BS site Like all the woke it cant take any criticism and will block any comments that disagree with its agenda.
Poor quality journalism and to add insult to injury, they have now blocked readers from posting comments that might tend to shine a spotlight on their shortcomings.
Government propaganda machine, fake news, one-sided stories, no free speech, censored comments, disabled dislike button to cover up the push back and create the acceptance illusion, silly fact checks, articles only to fit their agenda...
They have a comments section which they manipulate through blocking users and deleting comments which are critical of their agenda.
This leads me to believe they have certain identifying data on all of their users or some very intrusive way of tracking their visitors and keeping out the voices they don't want to be heard on their platform.
Usually well researched and with pertinent opinions based on fact.
Censorship in comments section is rampant, they delete what doesn't suit their far-left agenda.

It's an embarrassment to journalism.
This is wholly against free speech which a user comments section is meant to be.
They should not allow any posts at all if they cannot allow even the slightest negative post regarding a story they produce. (They even disable comments on certain stories which have more negative posts than positive).
You can't take this garbage site seriously, but you can visit it for entertainment and a big laugh with the popcorn!
It's simply a nonsense site...... click baits followed by the same posters squabbling childlessly with personal attacks & name calling.
The journal is out of sync with the majority of people, it constantly pushes lies, fake news, fake facts, fake science and far-left propaganda.
They seem to have very young liberal writers who have gone through the mainstream journalism colleges who have been indoctrinated into the current liberal narrative.
I'm a web developer and I don't know how they do it but they banned me, and there is no way for me to circumvent it, it's very strange, I have tried everything, fresh PC, fresh email, fresh twitter, it doesn't matter, it always shows that I am banned from commenting.
I was banned, I do not have a reason for this, I sent them several messages to try to rectify this. but they simply refuse to reply.
It's just 1 troll with a gazillion different accounts.
I have never trolled anyone or used any form of language. I think its bad form ...
I look at comments on the journal and wonder how are these allowed, they come from the same people all the time, yet they are not banned.
Cancel Culture in action You would be better reading the back of Cornflake box for current news.
Worst excuse for a newspaper I have ever come across, avoid this echo chamber if "investigative journalism" is what you are looking for, more truth to be found written on the wall of public toilets.
I don't claim to be a professional journalist but this is my opinion.
