TalkTalk’s customer service is second to none if you take your problem to their community forum, where you'll find helpful fellow users (volunteers) and TalkTalk staff.
Talktalk act dumb, chatbot you, pass you from department to department where you have to explain a simple request to leave several times over.
Customer service is terrible.

problem was dealt with via texting. communication was clear.
The only way to contact them is through chat, where I was informed that the fee would apply because I paid one day late.
I strongly advise against using this service.

We feel if this is how they operate with pitenial new customers whats the service goni g to be like once we are!! 👎 not worth the risk an hassle.
Now over a month since broadband upgrade booked.
Had a problem with my broadband signal which kept dropping out.
It proved a waste of time talking as they repeatedly asked for more and more data, repeated data and gave nothing back.
It was a pleasure talking with david today. he went above and beyond to help me , and give me a great deal with talk talk broadband. loved his Irish accent too..
Engineer didn't turn up, and had several cancelled (by talktalk) appointments since.
A knowledgeable and friendly engineer came within a couple of days and diagnosed a faulty BT socket.
Impossible to get through to their customer service.
I rang up and went through the process, they said they'd send an engineer out, but need to work out a time they would be able to come.
TalkTalk confirmed line faults.
They underplay the fact that they will increase the price significantly in your contract and in my view mislead the customer.
She was prepared to speak slowly to explain what could be offered, and made sure I understood the terms before my final agreement without a trace of condescension.
They charge an excessive £12 late payment fee after just one day.
All our dealings with customer services, who are in South Africa, have been very encouraging.
THEY contacted me 3 times I'm sure by email to renew my contract.
I've been with TalkTalk for many years and have never had a problem.
Spoke with a customer agent who was most unhelpful.
This contact with talktalk has been online using a keyboard.
Phone connection was sorted and restored quickly.
I then went through their chat again and was told I would be pushed through to the complaints department, but was left talking to no one for around half an hour.
Any issues I've had have always been solved promptly and professionally via this forum.
Paid over £50 more on my phone bill because their service didn’t work.
Told me I’d receive a refund, yet now someone else telling I can’t because I’ve closed the account.
Do not feel a valued customer.
We've just spent the last hour just simply trying to register some sim only contracts for our company. 4 different departments we were passed round.
SKY has totally messed up this move and I have been looking at other providers!

I was told I would get a call the next day but didn't recieve anything.
Rang them on the 11 February to sort out Internet as we was moving on the 28th complete mess about told we did need an engineer 3 times and told we didn't twice to move in today and no Internet now have to wait till the 11th march..
