If Sim.de is UP for us but you cannot access it, try these solutions:
I received an email from them that they cannot provide Internet on the postal code: 12555 Berlin.
The setup of sim. de has several issues. 1) When you activate the "Roam Abroad" plan, it deactivates your existing EU free roaming plan.
Even though this was confirmed on the phone.
I called the hotline, the lady spoke zero English and I spoke no German. Match made in heaven.
Also no feedback from their side.
Their service have always been too and I’ve never been charged even a cent more than my agreed 9,99.
My phone was stolen and it’s been a week and they haven’t provided me any access to it, not even through the eSim!!
Its cheap yes, but customer service do not handle customers.
The customer executive later told me that she could not talk in English as it is not allowed by the management.
For example, if you're traveling to Switzerland for a few days and activate the "Roam Abroad" plan, upon returning to an EU free roaming zone (like Italy), you'll still be limited to the 1GB plan instead of your usual 20GB plan. 2) Customer support often provides templated responses that only partially address queries.
I was left in the airport, stressed, no ability to no why my father didnt meet me at the arrivals.
There was no network since 27. 05. 24 and they didn't even sent us a intimation for the same.
There is no Internet service on the card though the contract is about Internet service.
But for the non German speaker this is an absolute nightmare as you get an email asking you to call up their hotline and confirm.
Absolutely garbage customer service.
Well sim. de does provide a good service at cheaper rate but they do not provide prior intimation for any software updates from their end so that we could be prepared.
The worst phone service provider in Berlin.
Would not recommend.
Suddenly cut the network for 1-2 weeks now and customer service is unreachable.
I have now tried to call several times and when my German isn't good enough and I asked them to speak slowly, so I can understand, both times they have hangup on me.
I can’t access my bank account without my phone number!!
I wanted to subscribe with a monthly cancellation option.
People from hotline they agree with you, but they do nothing, to solve your problem.
This is the worst thing I ever heard from a support executive she knows English but can't talk and provide support in English.
After they received the call, no support for the non-german speaking customer.
Never, ever ue this service. they will try to seduce b offering low prices, but in background, they will make u pay more. i have already contacted few legal representatives. this sim. de company havent replied or responded. even if it costs me more money, i will make sure, they will face the fine for stealing my money.
The back-and-forth communication can be time-consuming, potentially causing you to waste your trip trying to resolve issues with sim. de's complicated setup. 3) The customer service is poor and slow to respond.
Not only that they also switched off my data services because I exceeded my monthly bill over 50€.
I disabled my mobile internet when my usage hit 80% but despite that they got me on the hook for two times 'Datenautomatik' and it can be only be disabled from next month.
Now we have only used internet for 8 days and we ran out of data because they only gave 50GB.
There are not replaying to your e-mails, the contracts are not updated.
As an expat living in Germany; I haven't honestly had any problems with sim. de until I had to cancel it . I used it for two years. Then I moved countries.
So far they have continued to charge me 4 months since.
Even though they marked my inquiry as "SOLVED".
I agree I must have connected my data automatically when I switchen on the sim and must have also recieved soe messages and notifications, however they instantly charged 70€ stating if I use it overseas I bear an extra international charge.
I am paying since month without getting any service.
No where is it mentioned that foreign calls are an extra just to be allowed to call.
I had a back and for emails when I understood because I switched on my sim on Swizerland my monthly bill already crossed 70€ and they are judging my monthly bill might cross 150€ so unless I consent them they will not allow me to use data that I rightfully available in my contract.
Their customer care is super helpful and I’ve even ordered a new phone from them.
After contacting multiple times via contact support, they never replied.
