I came from an unstable environment to this wonderful flat.
Places for people are by far the best.
Lazy and uncaring people work for this so called charity.
Everyone I've spoken to has been clear about everything and helpful.
Why is there so many invited 5 star reviews?
Absolutely delighted with the service.
We have only recently moved into a places for people property.
So you are wasting holidays at work not earning money then they have to cheek to send you emails and letters stating the rent is going up.
Places for people builders/carpenters have done an amazing job on making a lovely fence for the front of my flat.
I have been in social housing for over 25 years with a few different associations.
Rent charges are ridiculously high, they claim they supply people with affordable housing and yet are anything but.. bleeding tennants dry every April with rent hikes.
I withheld my rent for a month, they managed to call me, email and text me about that.
Places for People made an offer on our house, as a cash-buyer which we accepted.
Generally very happy with this housing association, very understanding in most situations, moved flats lately, at a great expense, because of the time of year it was Xmas, had to support two flats rent wise .
In a nationwide cost of living crisis their motto is 'charge more, and bleed everyone dry so they can't afford the rent'.
The company are receptive to my requests and are very helpful.
They have provided me with all the relevant information to set up my home.
Atrocious company takes years for repairs to be done.
I really appreciated how quickly they came out and the great job that they did.
And yet yesterday I got a letter.
My only issue with places for people is the building manager ignores emails directed to her and her manager is the same.
Having given us assurances that all decisions had been made, they then pulled out nearly 3 months later, solely because the cost of putting a couple of tiny wheel chair ramps in and changing a couple of doors for wheelchair access was "too expensive" ... something they could and should have decided before they made an offer.
Alot of their houses need updating with new boilers, kitchens and bathrooms due to them being old and warn out, mold, even their so called engineers tell tennants that certain things need replacing but nothing gets done.
Places for People have been very efficient while maintaining the human element.
Kindly put flooring in bathrooms and kitchen, provided a cupboard bin and lots of information.
Very expensive, could have given me a little Lee way, overall very happy with my move.
I am very pleased with the flat and I'm looking forward to living there.
Even the budgie has stopped chirping it’s that depressed. Disgusting.
We moved into a new build property and Any problems we’ve had have been dealt with quickly and they always follow up to make sure the job was done correctly and that we’re happy with it.
I wish that she could be contacted to answer the question whether the cctv in our building is working.
Such great people Places for People should be proud of them and consider giving awards to outstanding workers. Thank you so much.
Holes in roof since November 2024 left freezing with a newborn and a 3 year old, quick enough at upping your rent but leaving you in disgusting houses.
The changing rooms are filthy dirty.
They plumbed the bathroom. Hot tap to cold tap. Cold tap to hot tap. They ignored Emails.
I am surrounded by the things that make me happy.
I turned up for a swim last night but could not park so had to go home.
Then to make it look authentic a couple of 1 star reviews, very suspicious.
They say the service charges they charge on top of the rent are for the upkeep of the area and yet I've never seen anyone upkeeping the area.
I am able to keep it tidy and am making friends.
You book days off for work to be carried out.
