This is no longer the case. Extremely biased.
A good variety of informative and fun shows and podcasts.
Every time that I listen to a NPR reported newscast, that has a political association, The reporters express a bias that is obvious.
No reason to end old classic radio shows to favor social change ( socialism).
Do not donate any money to this supposedly news outlet.
I use to love listening to NPR for good news and interesting stories. NOT ANYMORE!
It's all just liberal opions and pushing liberal agendas. 🙄 they get tax payers dollars to tell half the country they hate you.
Nobody with any intelligence needs to have an opinion crammed down their throat.
I lean a little left and I am even getting to the point where I dont want to listen to their "Up Firist" stuff anymore.
They do not report the facts, but rather a woke view of virtually every topic.
What happened to real journalism??
I listened today 11/12/24 as they talked to people about their reaction and fears of the election results.
They had three psychologist on panel to discuss people fears of a Trump term.
Only God can fix lives and such problems.
It was clear they were one-sided biased and utterly wrong (we all know the unfortunate consequences now).
I thought it would fade after the election but it just keeps going further left.
I read with interest an NPR article a fact checking Trump from a recent speech. They claimed 162 lies.
I wrote them to ask for a link to their “Harris fact checking article”.
I used to really enjoy listening as both sides of a topic were discussed.
Consequently, their news Is unreliable.
This is manipulation and one star is too many and I will never donate one penny to your freaking organization like I have in the past.
Also, please get rid of Kimberly Atkins Store as back-up host for "On Point," as she has no personality and is not very engaging at all.
The number was initially disputed, but is now widely accepted by doctors and hospital officials — and quoted ubiquitously in the media.
Don’t waste your time with this station!
I have listend to NPR for years because I felt they were mostly center and only slightly leaning left, but ever since Trump started running they have gotten further and further left.
I can barely listen to them now, all biased opinions, NO real evidence-based news or even opinions from both sides of the aisle.
Almost all reports or stories are about racism and LGBTQ.
WOW you people at NPR should be ashamed.
When are you going to start listening to the people and start real reporting!

I used to love NPR and was an avid donor and encouraged my family to donate.
Nothing like telling a patient to go ahead and realize their fears that were planted by the Harris people.
We need to 100% defund NPR and create a true, unbiased news station, with a clean slate of real reporters, not the typical left-wing, totally biased folks that currently dominate this fiasco of a station.
I want the full story from my news station not just the part that fits their agenda.
I started losing faith in their supposedly "unbiased" and "true facts" reporting during the "arab spring" events in 2011-2012.
This is the most liberally biased “news” I have ever heard.
I've been using the NPR One app for years.
The programing has become totally one-sided and doesn't present any right-leaning perspectives or otherwise balanced reporting.
Losing money like newspapers and magazines pretending to be journalistic endeavors.
