website is misleading, I made three attempts within a week to buy a dreambox receiver via a posted advertisement, but at the last minute the advertisement was removed by eBay Kleinanzeigen, the advertisement is simply fake, I suspect it was deliberately placed by eBay is placed .
Kleinanzeigen is doing a lot to help users identify whether their counterpart is trustworthy.

From time to time you get weird people but overall I had a great experience.
I deleted my kleinanzeigen after my sales ads were removed constantly. The reason?
They suspect, that I’m a business and need to register as a company.
Their new Online Payment Platform partner (that replaced paypal) feels like a total scam, randomly blocking transactions, malfunctioning systems, zero support. Kleinanzeigen. de themselves don't seem to have any support at all (no response to inquiries).
It's a legit online flea market.
That is supposed to be the worst thing that could happen, but neither do the owners care nor will it change anything about its quasi-monopol position on the market.
They are very bad platform.... they close your account for the most trivial reasons...
Platforms like this depend on their users'/customers' trust. Kleinanzeigen. de has lost all the trust the previous version gained over many years.
Kleinanzeigen himself placed to attract more visitors.
But the unblocking is the problem.
There is no one I can contact and I'm expected to find the answer amongst one of there many FAQs, none of which were relevant to my case.
After numerous of complaints and stating in my ads that I’m a private seller.
I'm currently overseas for a short period and now my account has been blocked, due to a different IP address.. a little annoying but I can understand.
Have been a buyer and seller on the (previously ebay owned) platform - won't use it again.
