THEY DO NOT LISTEN TO TENNANTS - I lived at conninsgby house in sheffield for 2 years & had a terrible experience with one of the male tenants stalking - asking me out on dates multuple times even though i said no everytime, he even started following me around, I feared walking home because of him.
I rand JJ on the 23rd and after a palaver I managed to speak to z person, yes you heard me right I real life living breathing person.
The response to security issues has been neglectful.

I was bully and staff coving it up try reporting many time all staff interested in was trying to sleep with me so the staff are grooming mental health people.
As a single women I did not feel safe there.
So far, my elderly mum has been continuously let down at every given opportunity and has been sheer hell for her ever since she moved in over two years ago.
It seems that the rule is now to mix problem tenants with elderly, good tenants and hope they fit in.
We lived in it for almost 10 years and during that time, despite paying a monthly service charge of over £50, and never being behind in our rent, they have done absolutely nothing.
When the bins are emptied, maggots can be seen in the bottom of the bins as they have never been washed-out in the time I have lived here - 7 years!!
Many many reports sent to management and the police over the past 5 years and nothings been done.

I have been a resident at Sealand House in Prestwich since January 2015, when l came here it was a nice, clean place to live.
Since Yvonne Castle took over as C. E. O. the standards have gone down hil then along came Fortem, we had our cleaning hours cut back and the standard is not as good as we had before, some areas are getting cleaned may be once a month sometimes every two months, where as before all areas were cleaned twice a week.
We had a handy man who came every Monday, washed out the refuse bins when emptied, cleaned th bin rooms, washed the outside light fittings, swept the pathways and cleaned the recycle bin area, although we are still paying for the five hours each Monday we have had five hours of the handy man in over two years.
She has a very important appt tmw with managers and staff regarding what can be done for her. Lets see what happens... this time!
I have lived in one of their properties (CONINGSBY HOUSE SHEFFIELD) for several years and as I'm approaching my 70th year and have mobility problems I dont feel safe.
This same person promised me that they JJ my complaint very serious and that JJ wanted to solve the problems of drug use and sale from their property.
I recently worked for sanctuary housing in Francis street hull which will be the main call centre for all (JJ) residents/tenants they have absolutely no morals regarding those who work for sanctuary.
this is the 3/4 time I have contacted them.
As you can imagine I was in awe of this amazing response and after putting the phone down felt safe and secure all my problems will be over soon and I will live in peace and security all thanks to my caring gracious and all round great landlord.
Their copy and paste response on here to customers reviews is a testiment of their lack of respect and disregard They clearly have no interest in improving their services.
Including tenants health and safety, poor maintenance, allowing some tenants to continue using drugs and cause discomfort and distress to other tenants.

Wouldn't recommend conningsby house my elderly mother lived there for years sadly we had to move mum out due to one individual knocking on her door all hours day and night asking for money contacted police they helped spoke to johnnie johnson they did not care one bit thankfully mum.
Nothing can be worse than the way JJH run their housing association and the care and welfare of tenants.
They never response to queries or issues but years later send an email like nothing happen. - no apology, nothing.
Would never recommend jonny johnson.
What actually happened is I felt more let down and deflated that the party baloon that manages to hide behind the couch until only found when you realise your mother in law is coming over and the house needs to be cleaner than a surgeon's knife.
Eventually I told them they would have to pay for any damage done to my property in the garden, and in the house as a result of damp, and they finally sent someone up to clear them.
This will be very short lived.
Tenant signed for flat beginning of may. Still not moved in. How is this acceptable.
They are consumed with entitled female housing officers who do nothing but discourage and lack engagement with potential tenants.
On inital call you are invited to listen to their condescending false mission statement about their commitment to customers and how they pride themselves on providing an exceptional customer servuce.
Poor response to the communal garden turning into a dog toilet; plants growing out of the roof for the past two years; mould developing on the walls; electrical equipment showing signs of deterioration; large amounts held in the unspent sinking fund; internal decoration not completed; fire door and emergency lighting messaging being difficult to understand.
If i could give no stars, i would.
