This effectively renders the travel insurance policy not fit for purpose for anyone hoping to claim for financial losses incurred through holiday cancellation because of Covid-19.

The underwriters deny all claims, the complaints process is a pointless exercise, you might as well watch paint dry on a snail.

Check,Check & double check the wording including exclusions- Far far too many.
It prevented me from ruining my plan.
We've been going back and forth months now, trying to get help from Insuremore, only to now be told that this is seen as a flight delay and we cannot be refunded even though our policy states that it covers cancellations.
Insuremore's 26-page 'Travel Insurance Policy Wording' contains two important words in the 'Exclusions' section.
Purchased single trip cover in October 2019 (well before I'd even heard about Covid 19 ! ) for a holiday to the USA in May 2020.
I contacted them and they were quick with sending me a claim form which I sent back recorded so I know they received it as I checked my tracking!
The underwriters have different terms and conditions to ones supplied to us.
Took insurance out before COVID for Holiday booked in April which was cancelled!
I understand that the company is probably busy and delayed responses, however due to their 4 week delay if i try to cancel the policy now I have lost out on a further 4 weeks that I could have had reimbursed, as the cancellation refunds are pro-rata.
Great family price as kids covered free, plus we took their deluxe policy which included FREE car hire excess insurance - meant we didn't have to pay extra to the rental company - really pleased, would definitely use this company again.

My last cruise had a missed pot so I submitted a simple claim to the insurer ETI as the policy covered this in October last year.
Having now read the appalling reviews I doubt I will receive anything and will have to resort to contacting the FCA.

Flights refunded via easyJet however the accommodation needed claiming - Insuremore refused to pay out.
I have been using this company for some years as competitively priced.
I am still awaiting for this to be processed and have tried chasing up by phone and email without success.
No big deal, as airline company, Disney, car hire company and villa owner have all amended the dates and been incredibly flexible , and although I've had to pay a little more, that is to be expected ! EXCEPT for Insuremore.
The premiums were competitive and reasonable and the insurance provides quite extensive coverage.

Underwriters refuse to pay out when clear cancellation policy.
I did not hear back for 4 weeks at which point I just had a blanket no and was told to go to the airline.
They found a petty loophole to avoid paying out by stating that as my flight had taken off on time, the subsequent disruption, namely the flight was returned to Gatwick, did not count.
I checked out their price for Family with 4 kids on Annual policy ..... wow it is competitive and also include car hire excess waiver ! rock n roll !!!
I can't give it any less stars.
Emirates didn't want to give us a full one way ticket refund, but we thought at least the travel insurance would cover the difference.
This entire process took almost five months.
Purchased insurance well before Covid was known to travel in April via blue light card as an emergency services worker. Holiday was cancelled.
Got a straight reply , sorry but your policy has expired and there is no more financial contribution.
Perhaps they are cheap but it’s a waste of money as they do not pay out when something goes wrong.
