So many bad comments, but I can only say great things about ING.
Apparently, anyone can pretend to be the owner of a company and ING will operate your account and facilitate the fraud, allowing you to illegally collect money from your victims. 2.
Well, for 5 years they have been OK actually, but just last month they started to block all my incoming transfers from other European countries, for no apparent reason.
Lately I talk to ING too often, or rather I talk to a machine or try to get an operator at the phone. 9+ months to fix a broker transfer. Very high fees.
No, I do not expect the rest of the world to speak English.
A shame for its users, it is a terrible app, the worst of all banks I ever had, the engineers working on it must have some serious intelligence issues not to be able to fix this disaster that's been going on since the beginning. Shame InG Spain shame!
They never seem to discover that they are effectively stealing my money themselves, I have to go through all the formal hugely obscure steps to contact them and sort it out myself.
Personnel who have basically no clue of what to do even for trivial issues such as errors occuring while trying to activate my credit card, and user-unfriendly methods of voice contact.
I guess it is not easy to offer good service in the banking sector these days with all the changes, security issues, people who don't understand the technology etc. But, for my money, Ing. es fits the bill. Well done ING!
My account is always in plus, and I make no fuss or weird stuff, it is just pure incompetence (or fraud? ) from their side.
They block me for 58 euros.
Now Im actively looking for a quality low cost bank.
My definition of a good bank or insurance company, is a company I don't have to talk to, or care about.
I left the Spanish banking system (La Caixa) as they gave poor service and were expensive.
Recently, I suffered a phishing attempt and they were able to block my account before I was taken any money. I'm super grateful.
I regret joining this bank, worst customer experience ever.
They have faceless, nameless customer support staff who avoid telling you who they are, where they are based and department.
On the phone, on the web, in the branch office in Valencia...
It's been one month they blocked my account asking me for a document which I sent already 3 times and my account is still blocked, no one is able to help me !
Is ING an Internet Bank? but you can not contact them by mail... they can send you messages and emails but you can not reply to them (even using their app) Frustrating!
Card payments I process via STRIPE and while ING has accepted probably 100 STRIPE transfers over the past 2 years, they decided to block the 101st.
He is impersonating a company that doesn't belong to him, and he managed to open a corporate account at ING under this company name.
Days after I tried to deposit cash in my account and I got that error saying technical issues happens all the time with ING so went to other ATM, same error! not surprised!! almost all the time ING ATMs either out of service or can't perform some basic functions.
Never had a problem with them, every time I need to reach customer support, they are kind and fast.
The problems with this bank are too many to mention here.
ING are a Dutch bank which operates in Spain but does not have International Customer Support.
I like Ing and have always been treated with professionalism, efficiency, easy access and kindness.
I had several times that ING retains transfers made to my account without notifying me.
The branch in Alicante forces you to queue outside? Yes, I am English.
If you are dealing with international accounts (inside EU) do not use this bank.
Not recommened , there aren't a lot of problems but when you need help , no help will be provided.
Their customer service is an endless NIGHTMARE! Tried calling for hours!

But the email contains no information whatsoever about the transfer so you need to call them (phone queues, etc. you get the gist).
Feels like a service from the '50ies but with the implementation of internet.
Especially when your account is blocked for no reason.... expat living in Spain..
In my opinion, they have kept as the most trustable bank in Spain.
From the very first moment I opened an online account EVERYTHING went WRONG!
The Spanish app version of ING should have a feature to change in the menu to the English language.
Otherwise the app and Banking experience will be rubbish..
