Very nice and helpful customer service.
Money gone, a broken bike and a very very frustrating feeling about the service and a total unwillingness to come with a real solution.
After 2 weeks I went to the shop and my bike was still there with 0 progress, nothing repaired, they did not even remember me and what was wrong with my bike.
We have found what we were looking for.

At home I realized the battery they gave me has much less capacity and poorer performance than the original !!
I already spent around 80 euro to fix these things and I'm due back in my local repair shop because they warned me the chain tension needs to be adjusted as well if I want to ride safely.
To those leaving negative reviews - if you have a problem, I’d say just reach out to the shop.
They gladly take your money but fail to deliver the service required when the bike is broken.
Terrible company - rude staff -don't care at all.
So, my advice: avoid this store as the plague and do your home work regarding buying a bike and the after sales service you’re looking for.
Bought a bike (with 2 months warranty) at the Houtplein shop in Haarlem a little more than 2 weeks ago.
I was told no returns or refunds which actually goes against their policy on their website.
This is a place where people don't hesitate to help. Very human attitude. Loved it!

Finally decided to take the bike back.
I bought a 2dn hand E-Bike from this shop a month an a half ago with 3 months warranty, that's why you would pay a little extra. 1 month after buying it the battery died so I went to the shop and let them know.
Grips are worn out and sticky, scratch marks on the frame, on the handlebar and on the hand brakes, no backlight (as opposed to the listing), the tires came flat and the rear wheel's tire is not fitted well which gives that wavy feeling when riding the bike.

Such a poor service experience, bad communication (every call I am told they have no time as they have customers in the shop) and a waste of my time/money.
I wouldn't deal with this company every again and I suggest you don't.

The bike was at 't Fietshokje Beverwijk, the carrier who was supposed to deliver it to me couldn't reach them for almost a week after the purchase was confirmed; and once it was finally delivered (with flat tires), it was in a visibly worse condition than what anyone would call great shape.
We bought a new bicycle for my son and we were greatly impressed and helped by Ingo.
We have bought 2 bikes with seat for our little kid.
Manager takes 12 days to answer email and lies saying I am getting a good price for component (real markup is 500% after searching online).
It’s not my first bike purchase from this shop, and I’d definitely go back to this trustworthy handyman.
To bad, we’ve purchased all of our bikes from this shop and have been pleased, but this is too bad.
They listed a bike on bikefair. org, stating its condition is "great shape" (4 out of 5 star) and although they did not enclose the frame number, BikeFair informed me they are vetting their sellers and no need to worry about the bike being a stolen one.
But the staff at the shop can’t answer a simple question: when will the bike be ready?
Do not buy a bike here EVER, single worst customer service I have ever experienced and quality of product.
The repairs needed were: broken stop light, broken handle bar, loose pedal and speeds fine tuning.
The seller was really understanding and even though the shop was fully packed with other clients, he gave me enough time to think, ask questions, and get solid technical advice.
Purchased a used bike at the shop but noticed that when I got it home, the back tire was warped and not straight.
Atrocious customer service: Employee that lied at time of sale got fired (probably for lying to customers) but store does not take responsibility.
Bike broke after 2 months - staff were totally rude and wouldn't help at all - kept us on the hook waiting for a new battery.
Unprofessional, rude and insulting behavior, after I bought a new bicycle from him.
So, I went back the next Saturday and they offered me another e-bike in the same price range, which I took instead of waiting for a repair.
When we demonstrated this by turning the wheel and compare that with a new bike, we got flatly lied to in the store, that there was no problem.
