I used donorbox to fundraise for a non profit running a school for refugee kids.
I was told that this typically happens when the wrong STRIPE account is connect to Donorbox.
I cant get the payment processor connected through the links provided.
Their dedication to providing as many free resources as possible to support nonprofits is so appreciated among the nonprofit organizations I serve.
When I called them, the account had been shut down by Donorbox, but the wouldn't give a reason.

This company is used by scammers usually claiming to be animal shelters in many places around the world.
They clearly care deeply about the success of the organizations they serve, and do a great job supporting them.
We managed to raise £23k, on which donor box and Stripe (their banking partner) paid themselves a whopping a 6% fee.
I checked their positive reviews on other sites, but most were incentivized.
As a new subscriber, I would have preferred to choose a trial offer but none was available.

We’ve just found out that Stripe runs the bank transfer aspect for them and they’ve frozen the system because any documentation we send to prove who we are has been rejected. We’re stuck!

It's come to my attention that a reported predator and assaulter of women is now using donorbox to get donations because he couldn't get a real job and is playing mr. nice guy now. Pathetic!

Fraudsters target individuals and a lot of these accounts use Donorbox.
Absolutely shocking behaviour from this shameful organisation clearly set to generously profit only from the most vulnerable - poses a few questions about the type of people they are doesn't it.
Donorbox is a great product, but what I love even more is their team.
They lead with service, and they seek to serve their clients and set them up for success in everything they do.
I’m writing this review to state that DonorBox needs to change their billing and subscription practices.

This company is used by scammers/fraudsters claiming to help animals.
Thankfully, I'm resilient enough for it not to deter me from donating to other charities but I won't be going anywhere near this payment platform again that's for sure!
I know of an actual abuser and fraud they let operate on this site!
