I signed up for internet via cable, but I never received the cable modem.
I lost all my services and have to wait 3 or 4 days before they can send a technician to my home.
Takes them more than a week to realize if they received returned package.
Searched for other options, found another that could hook me up in a day.
After 4 months of no connection, they had Promised to refund 100%, but I did not even get quarter of the amount I paid!!
Monday comes and the money still comes off my card and the modem shows up at my door.
Just so you are aware, they require an automatic deposit a month in advance for their services.
They are ridiculous they disconnected me after I paid my bill and then refused to reconnect me after they already said they would.
Spent a lot of time with them to confirm they could offer the internet service at my address but then 2 weeks later I called them because the modem was still not delivered and they told me they could not provide internet...
I signed up for the 500 fibre optic internet service.
When I signed with Distributel , I had good internet for couple of weeks and after that settings were changed and to open an email I had to reboot the system every 10 minutes .
Don't get discouraged by all the negative reviews online.
I signed up with this company for about 30 minutes and cancel after I saw all the bad reviews.
And 3 days later I'm still waiting for them to refund my $53.
Called customer service several times. Changed another modem. Can not fix the problem.
Absolutely predatory company that will send completely unskilled "technicians" 5 times who will fail to install your internet.
They rescheduled without my consent multiple times, and 3 weeks in a row, no technician showed up.
The modem never arrived, and their customer service never took our call after hours of waiting. Beware.
And the internet service has been superb.
I think what happened is that the people who had bad luck complained online.
Signed up for internet last Friday, Oct 25, only to find out it would take a week to hook me up.
The bigger issue is when yiu have a technical problem that requires a service call.
EDIT: I contacted them on Twitter and the situation was rapidly solved.
Canada Post said I needed to complain to the sender, but Distributel refused to help, and they charged me nearly $200 for the modem when I cancelled my service.
All the customer representatives are friendly and helpful.
Then charge you for the month anyway.
So i returned the model tracking show they have it.
But I already updated the new payment info on Nov. 22 and got the confirmation from the Distributel system.
Canada Post said it was delivered, so I'm pretty sure my modem was stolen.
No help other than to reschedule 10 days later.
Yet closes ticket after ticket without reaching out to resolve.
I’m paying for a Fibre internet 500 mbps , but never got more than 20-30mbps.
Super reliable and stable and at a fantastic price to boot.
I had the worst experience dealing with this scam of a company.
They delivered the model within 48 hours which I call them and asked why they still send the model when I cancel within 30 minutes, was told sale office didn't see the cancellation.
I’m keeping the speed test files to prove my words.
Then refuses to assist you if you don't keep paying.
Product was delivered by Pululator during the strike, give Pululator return sticker not Canada post.
Again, no technician showed up.
