I was trying to dispute transactions due to scammed but unable to do so with cimb.
I had this account for 8 years.
10 days ago I made a Speedsend foreign transfer. 4 days after, my family's mortgage payment was due and I had to borrow money from my bank in Spain to pay it, I just asked for the money refunded to my account.
On top of that, the customer service at the counter is awful, and I had to wait for a long time with no proper assistance.
So far most of my friends using different other banks all able to get their refunds.
so confusing, cimb system seems slow and confusing, logged in to cimbclicks and it was so laggy and many services are not functioning well. and too many process to just to talk to customer service.
Never expect already 2024, bank hotline the person who represent a bank can talk like shxx.
Now I find out the unclaimed cheque has expired.
I am still waiting for an answer 😡 .. still 20% of my salary is "pending" on their website...
Calling to ask about why double charge for a single transaction. Explaining like shxx.. Never solve the problem.
So, I am logging a formal complaint with BNM via telelink.
I have communicated via every single channel they have.
Closed my account because of nationality.
My account with RM24,000 was frozen, and I received no follow-up—no calls, no emails, nothing.
This is the worst bank and the worst customer service I ever see..
