When i tried to book it returned a message that my card exceeded transactions.
Beware, after accepting my booking and payment, they simply cancelled a few days later.
Because you promise cheap flights on all the adverts... just to be disappointed EVERY SINGLE TIME!!!
I called the called center only to hear that the price on the site was incorrect it was 3 times the quoted amount. Really crap service!
I phoned the number on the screen but the lady could not understand my query and then I send them an email but still did not get any reply EXCEPT for further "specials".
Asking someone to rate a service they've barely used.. from me you'll get no stars if it was an option.
The app does not give me the function to chose the following on return flight.
I was only using it to compare to flight centre prices.
The bank won’t refund me as they say I gave my card details so it is not fraud.
They took R25 000 of mine and I haven't gotten it back, they said I'd recieve a refund however I am yet to recieve it.
Took me 3 times starting again before I managed to complete it.
Stupid request, stupid response.
Eventually the only flight I could get was offered at R28??. 00 It seems that Cheap flights advertise at cheap prices but when a booking is made they block all payments just to up the price.
I phoned the contact centre who advised the flights had increased and couldn't assist.
When I contacted cheapflights to ask them if the flights they advertise if it's from reputable agencies and they said yes.
No mention was made that I needed a credit card and then you take my money and then tell me a need a credit card.
In their email they stated that the money would be refunded shortly.
On top of that you upsold me a rental car.
AND IF YOU CAN ACTUALLY ANSWER THE PHONE AND HELP BUT NOOOOO YOU JUST WANT TO STEAL PEOPLES MONEY, WORST SERVICE AND UNFRIEDNLY PEOPLE TO DEAL WITH EVER.
TAKE TRAVEL STAR OFF YOUR LIST THEY WILL COST YOU TO LOOSE A LOT OF CUSTOMERS.
Although you indicate 2 passengers, at first glance price is only for 1 person.
Again, when I wanted to pay for the booking I was blocked again by the Cheap Flights website. Again for about an hour.
I WILL NEVER EVER USE YOUR COMPANY AGAIN. i AM WRITING A COMPLAINT ON HELLO PETER AS WE SPEAK.
Their excuse was that their was an error in the booking, hence they cancelled the booking.
I logged onto cheapflights and found a return flight from Jhb to George on the internet.
When I wanted to book the flight i continuously got a error message.
Started with pricing of R4500 for tickets for 3 people from Durban to Cape Town and when time for paying the pricing tripled... did not go any further and will definitely no use this again.
Cheapflights. co. za is a SCAM.
Do i need to select multiple cities(then its easy to pick Johannesburg and Phuket)?
Your site showed me incorrect prices.
We NEVER clicked the "purchase" button but declined the deal.
They advertise flights from agencies who are scammers.
They further suggest that we book directly with the Airline.
I have NEVER gotten a cheap flight EVER!
After we had entered our credit card details , a message popped up to say the flights is now R1900.
Johannesburg to Singapore to Phuket and back on on a different date(only gives me Hong Kong).
I received an email with prices and did a booking for the R592 from Cape Town to East London.
I feel the system is designed to not be easy.
Very disgusted and I do have a screenshot and are going to take this matter to the consumer's board.
And they don't care, even though it's their website that THEY advertise scammers on so they just ad bad as the actual scammer.
