Severe staff shortages, having to hunt the store to get some assistance and when I do they're not knowledgeable.
Says on their website they cut timber.
Priority IMO is paying customers not bins etc..
Trying to buy a product, checked online and states "in stock" travel to Bunnings Mt Maunganui, none in stock, there isn't even a place for the product on shelf.
There were other people carrying things around the store & I was going to purchase several other items, so I walked out, complained to the guy at door & asked for my original disc back & he wouldn't. Went elsewhere. Won't be back.

Click and collect order, when ordered it stated ready for pickup in 2 hours. 48 hours later I am still waiting fir them to get 2 products down from the high shelves.
asked for a sandpaper disc showing my old one to match, found it, then asked another girl for another item & she said "you can't walk around the store carrying that sandpaper, you will have to pay for it separately here or leave it here".
Wendy (customer service) refused to do honour the price promise, so now I have to take Bunnings to the disputes tribunal for a breach of the fair trading act, What a hassle.. and awful customer service.

Don’t Ask Them to cut timber because they won’t went to three stores New Lynn flat out refused to cut two pieces of MDF in half for me would have taken 2 mins and they have done it before for me at least 3 times.
Useless shop - I dumped my goods on the counter and left. I've finally had enough.
Bunning have no respect for people with disabilities and parking they don't leave room to get out of the vechile when in a wheel chair the space is not wide enough and the have the gas bottles cage right on the line and other ones the have tool boxes or pallets of wood.
Tried to get bunnings to honour their 15% price guarantee by matching Noel Leeming for some Philips Hue lights.
Quality of merchandise can be hit and miss which is where the returns policy comes in handy.
I am based in Darwin, my family collecting this item have just flown in from Perth, and Paige who works there was absolutely amazing!!
Nobody was at the Click & Collect Counter so we just went to the normal counter.
Over the years I've been a huge fan of Bunnings going almost every weekend for one thing or another and so much so that friends joked sayn Id been to church.
Made the trip on a wet lousy day because the website says they have (garden) items in stock.
I made an order for window film and it was ready really quickly - the collection process was easy.
Also bought an extension cord - discovered that the socket was warped (manufacturing defect); they offered to replace it - ALL those extension cords had the same defect !!! - Very bad attitude "no-one else has complained" Got a refund & never going there again.
Mt Roskill and Masseys both had wood cutting machines out of action.
They won’t even try to deliver goods they will make excuses why they couldn’t even when they perfectly well could have.
It's not just a one-off, and the brand new self checkouts were roped off.
i bought a rust proofing product , white knight,sfter using it , i became very sick. it attacked my central nervous system and i developed pneumonia , critical car ein hosp, very lucky to be alive . i went to bunnings Glenfield to , just say to them . maybe put this product behind lock and key and have someone with experience talk to customer on how dangerous it is .
Their pricing is more honest than that of other competitors, not first inflated, to be discounted later.
Of course they don't stupid me!
A significant amount of the time it’s closed because there’s “ no parking left inside” …when u go in and look there 3 rubbish bins, cupla packs of timber , floor sweeping machine etc taking up 5-6 park spaces…if ur not gonna let ur tradies in how r u gonna sell em the timber…?
Bunnings are mostly selling quality products.
Issues include an infuriating slow, front end heavy and unresponsive website which appears to be getting slower by the week.
Asked staff for assistance no help.
Retail pricing appears to be 25-33% more expensive than Bunnings Australia and feel they've started pricing themselves out of the market.
Great Experience with Click & Collect at the Hamilton South Branch.
Bunnings Porirua hardly ever has enough tills open - you're waiting for ages for someone to take your money, there is no lack of staff, they're just doing other more important things - like the lady at the service desk having a lovely conversation that hardly seemed urgent or frankly business related.
Fortnight later product still on top shelf!
Paid $7 for click and collect, could have purchased same products on same day.
I organised a click and collect for a WIFI extender for my family in Ruatoria.
My last few experiences have been really disappointing.
Experienced this before with Bunnings.
