I have recently bought my first property with Bromford and it's not been a great experience so far.
I had a full grow man threatened my wife with my 2 year daughter, while he had someone eles kids with him but Bromford told me I can't use my ringdoor bell as proof because it eves he's privacy.
Service charge is just giving them money for doing nothing.
During the process of buying there is a lot of pressure put on to exchange by a certain deadline etc and it seems very much you are just a number for them to sell the property so they can move on to the next as soon as possible.
This company allows their neighbourhood coaches to be paid a full wage while not achieving the full scope of the job.
The business is run so badly, maintenance are so bad.
I gave this company one week to resolve this and all they have done is fob us off.

Moved into one of there new builds and the work was Shocking took over a year for them to even start looking at the problem's and we're still waiting for the works to be finished and we're now on the second year, seems to be want to do nothing for a working class family but will wait on hand a knee for the bums/drug takers/drug dealers/ASB/people fruding the system.
Judy was incredible, such support and professionalism shown throughout the whole experience of purchasing a shared ownership property.
They are not mental health trained professionals and this should be removed from the job description.
Use very bad contractors.
Want to up youre rent every year on "affordable housing" to the point where they'll make you homeless, and housing coach that rely private information to others. It's just been hell.
so many things are wrong with them, I do not know where to start with.
On a positive note some of the staff I've spoken to have been helpful (once you get through! ) and I am hopeful that the issues will eventually be resolved, it's just a shame because after renting with Bromford for so long before buying I actually had a lot of praise for them but my experience has been mired by feeling a bit let down and made to feel like I was a meer money maker for them that they have now washed their hands of.
I have been in the property over 6 months now and outstanding issues have still not been resolved, it is impossible to get hold of anybody as the phone lines are always busy and if you message them on their live web chat they just tell you to phone up instead.
