Today miraculously there were no delays, but the overcrowded RG trains, WHICH ALWAYS HAPPEN ON WEEKENDS is shameful.
After three attempts on the phone and a wait of 45 minutes on an average, I manage to speak to a representative.
2025 is here but DB is most likely somewhere in 1980s.
As always there is a "problem", took the train from NL, only to reach Dusseldorf where DB "realized" that there are rail works and the train cannot go further (do your maintenance works pop spontaneously??? ). Thanks!

So at a random station they start to kick people with valid train tickets off of the train.

The train, instead of making up for the delay on the route (30 min), was delayed by an additional 1. 5 hours.
I wanted to book a journey from germany to poland 3 weeks in advance.

Having paid for and reserved a first class seat, I spent 4 hours standing between carriages between Berlin and Frankfurt.
Every single train that touched German ground was delayed, stopped early, cancelled or experienced some sort of problems.
I had to switch trains multiple times with a 4-5 minute interval between each train, so I had to run a couple times from a track to the other because the trains were often a few minutes late. It was nightmarish. 2 stars instead of 1 because I eventually managed to make all the connections and get to destination, but that was really my merit.
Other time i used them i was delayed about 2,5 hours.

For all the hype about German efficiency, DB must be their most shameful example of the opposite.
Last winter DB provided the probe DB card service. 20 days before the expiration day, I cancelled it and got the confirmation.
Today I just figured out cancellation minimal 3 weeks before deadline (even the probe DB card is short time), from some very minor website terms.

This train now had 3000 passengers and could not function.
