This week I called them to ask for statements from 2020 and they told me there was no record of the account so it "must have been purged".
Initially the funds from my matured CD was put in a lower paying CD than what was available at Alliant.
Love your easy website, your easy pay plan automated, and I have never had any issues.
I would definitely recommend Alliant to everyone.

That said, I do appreciate Alliant Credit Union’s dedication to thoroughness, and I believe they have the potential to improve the clarity of their communication and the speed of their responses.
When I called this time I was told a "Packet" was going to be MAILED to me (arriving in 1-2 WEEKS) & that I would need to fill it out, MAIL it back & wait another 1-2 weeks for processing?!
They keep sending the debit visa catd which we don’t want.
I've been dealing with them on a credit card fraud issue, and they continue to insist I reach out to a merchant with whom I've never done business.
You leave a message, to which they typically respond with some automated script that's not at all relevant to your issue.
If need money from my account l can always depend on timely arrangements.

If you want them to do anything you have to go to the regulatory bodies above them, get leverage on them, make threats, etc.
The 2. 5% cashback rate is nice, and that's what brings them up to two stars -- but customer service is terrible.
I used to have a Bank Of America bank account before switching with Alliant.
My first savings bank that has allowed me to earn great interest and accumulate money for my grandies.
I recently applied for a loan with Alliant Credit Union and wanted to share my experience.
When I called this time I got a very snarky woman who said because it was later in the day when I made my request it would come that day or the next. 02/29/25 No email.
If you need help with consolidation this option will cost you so much more money than seeking help from a credit counselor.
When I called Alliant they agreed errors were made on my matured CD and moved the funds to a higher paying CD.
Then, after clearly saying, DO NOT CANCEL MY HUSBANDS ATM Savings CARD, the only working card we have since we were leaving on an international trip the next day!!!! ’ They cancelled that card. So unprofessional.
In addition, when they turned off the card, they cut off my access to see last month's charges and failed to post last month's statement online.
We can't say enough good about him and Alliant.
I took out a personal loan with Upstart/Alliant Credit Union.
Both my son's are now members.
Professional, helpful, patience and resolved all of our issues.
After 5 long phone calls trying to get a functioning ATM savings card, not a Debit visa card, strictly an ATM cash card, I still have not gotten the correct card.
I like the idea to that there support and helping people that don’t have access to computers and/or any form of electronic communication.
An Alliant representative advised me that there was a 10 day window to decide how one wants to use the funds from a matured CD.
I'm always referring them to friends and family.
I have referred a number of friends to come over as well.
I recently had the pleasure of speaking with Rodney M. regarding our accounts and he was fantastic!
This is where the hell began. 02/20/25 Inquired about IRA & was told I needed to download and fill out a Traditional IRA Withdrawal form. 02/27/25 Inquired about the correct way to fill out portions of the form & was told I needed to fill out some beneficiary documentation & that email would be the fastest and most secure way to do it.
The associate really understood my problem.
Have yet to get any correct answer or card sent.
Sadly this is problem I know a lot of other longstanding customers have encountered.
I whole heartedly regret it, this is a vile company, check reddit reviews.
It is also simple to change the renewal durations.
Whenever l have needed financial help or information someone has always been able to help.
