Remote control not responding

Direct TV STREam comes up on my screen asking me to put in my password and when I say next it doesnt do anything, and this is what comes up no picture no TV ... just on the screen it says Direct TV Stream hit o to put in your password and it does nothing.

Not able to get any of my local ABC, NBC or CBS stations. Started at 8:55 and still is out. I missed the new episode of Ghosts because of this!! I have been rebooting and calling support services. No luck.

Major networks (ABC, NBC,CBS) are blacked out. Other channels worked. I have rebooted! Been out for 30 minutes
